Sherry Swint is a 21st Century Community Learning Centers Coordinator at the WVDE Office of Federal Programs. She collaborates with community partners to provide quality education programming to the youth in West Virginia. Her service has yielded educational programs to over 9,000 youth and assisted in developing West Virginia’s first Afterschool Quality Standards and WVU’s STEM Ambassador program. She serves on the West Virginia Statewide Afterschool Network Board, the Kanawha County Health Science and Technology Academy Board as co-vice chair, and as the secretary for the Education Elevator’s Board. She brings to WVU experience in non-profit work including service-learning, watershed and environmental programming, grant development and management, and curriculum development. Sherry possesses a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Baylor University and a Master of Public Administration from West Virginia University.
